Is EdCredible® really free for school districts and states?
YES! School Districts and State Departments of Education can use EdCredible's Instructional Materials Adoption Platform without any annual software fees.
How does EdCredible make money?
Depending on the state, EdCredible® charges vendors a per submission fee at the state or local level.
Does my district need to purchase training?
EdCredible provides free webinars for education agencies and vendors. Onsite training can be purchased at a daily rate.
How long does it take for an educator to set up an adoption in EdCredible®?
A full adoption can be created in EdCredible® in as little as 5-10 minutes. Administrators simply select from the list of their state course numbers, upload any district documentation, select a due date and hit POST! That's it.
Are vendors automatically notified of new adoptions?
YES! Vendors are automatically notified of new adoptions via email. Vendors have an email listed in EdCredible's Vendor Course Call Notifications field. Vendors not receiving district notifications, should email email@example.com.
What are the standard data fields that vendors complete with their adoption response?
Program Title, ISBN, Copyright, Author, Edition, Price per Student Edition, Price per Teacher Edition, Price per Class Set, Class Set Ratio, Shipping, Ancillary Materials/Bundles w/ Pricing, Major Student Tool Format, Major Teacher Tool Format, Link to Program Video, Link to EdReport(where applicable), Link to Correlation to State Standards, Link to Digital Walk-through Guide, Link to At-a-Glance Item Description, Link to Implementation and Training Plan, Teacher Digital Sample Access, Student Digital Sample Access and Public Digital Sample Access.
Can a district conduct prescreen evaluations in EdCredible?
Yes. Administrators can create their prescreen rubric in EdCredible. Administrators may opt to have vendors provide responses to the rubric and the school district can then score the vendor responses. Districts often use EdCredible's prescreen feature for technology integration due diligence.
Our district conducts multiple rounds of reviews. Does EdCredible have that capability?
Yes. EdCredible makes it easy to conduct multiple rounds of reviews with differing groups of programs and reviewers simultaneously.
Can reviewers collaborate remotely in EdCredible?
Yes. Administrators have the option to enable EdCredible's Group Chat functionality that allows specified users to communicate about each program at the indicator level while doing a review. Chatting at the indicator level makes it easy for reviewers to quickly identify comments from fellow reviewers.
Can my committee members ask the vendor questions through EdCredible?
Yes. Administrators have the option to enable EdCredible's Message to Vendor functionality that allows educators to anonymously send a message or question to a vendor.
Is committee review data collected in real-time?
Yes. Data is aggregated in real-time and administrators can filter for both Pending and Submitted committee review results.
Can I filter the data in my district or state?
Yes. Data can be filtered by District, School, User Group, User Role, User Name and more.

Welcome to EdCredible®, the online solution for educators and other education professionals to find, research, evaluate, and share experiences, ratings, and reviews about educational services, technology, tools, systems, and products (“Services, Solutions, and Tools”).
EdCredible® is provided by Ratings System, Inc. (“RSI”).
RSI has provided the following terms and conditions that outline how you may and may not use EdCredible® about your use of the RSI Site and System. You should read and understand this document, as it provides you with an outline of the conditions that govern your use of the Site and System.
The terms "Company", "we", "us", "our", and similar terms refer to RSI. The term “Community” refers to RSI’s online community of educators, technology companies and other stakeholders in the educational field.
The terms “you,” “your,” “User”, “user account” and other similar terms refer to end users of our System within the Community. The term “Site” or “System” refer to the online EdCredible® system as made available via www.edcredible.com or www.edcredible.org or www.edcredible.net or other URL(s) or other website(s) or mobile applications provided by or designated by RSI to the Community of Users or Communities of Users or Users.
The Site and System is intended only for users 18 years of age and older. By registering for or using the Site and System, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
Educational Entity (Schools, Districts, State Education Agencies)
School(s) or District(s) or State Education Agencies (“Educational Entity” or “Educational Entities”) may purchase a license or subscription to use the Site and System for its educator community or to obtain data and reports on the use of Educational Services and Tools and Ratings and Reviews generated by use of the Site and System. The Educational Entity acknowledges and agrees that access to the Site and System will be limited to the specified Educational Entity’s User Community. The Educational Entity School will not make the Site and System available to anyone outside of the Educational Entity’s User Community without Company’s prior consent. The Educational Entity understands that all members of the Educational Entities User Community will have access to all User Provided Content shared through or on the Site and System by the Educational Entity’s User Community and to other Educational Entity User Communities, except as may be set forth below. The Educational Entity further agrees that it will use its reasonable efforts to educate its Educational Entity Community about proper use of the EdCredible® Site and System and that RSI has the right to suspend or prohibit access to the Site and System by any User in violation of these Terms. An Educational Entity subscription may have restrictions on the number of localized rating and review forms, the authorized users, number and nature of reports and similar terms, all of which will be set forth in the Educational Entity’s School’s subscription agreement.
violate any third party's rights, including any breach of confidence, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right;
send bulk emails, surveys, or other mass messaging, whether commercial in nature or not;
interfere with, or attempt to interfere with or manipulate the Site’s search results or the normal operations of the Site and System or any other User’s use of the Site and System, including but not limited to: by overloading, flooding, spamming, keyword spamming, or crashing or attempting to crash the Site and System or its underlying systems or by altering any profile, ratings, reviews or other information provided by any User;
post, share, link to or submit any content or material that is defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy rights, or publicity rights, vulgar, profane, indecent, obscene, sexually explicit or exploitative,
use the Site and System to harass, bully, threaten, humiliate, stalk or otherwise intimidate any other User, member of the Community or any third party
post, share, link to or submit any content or material that constitutes hate speech, promotes bigotry or discrimination or violence against any group or person or is otherwise objectionable;
post, share, link to or submit any content or material that is fake, fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive;
post, share or disclose any personally identifiable information regarding any students;
impersonate any user;
falsely suggest or claim an affiliation with any other user or person or entity;
seek or attempt to monetize the Site and System, including by providing or removing ratings or reviews or endorsements for payment or other consideration from any Technology Partner or other third party;
violate or circumvent your School’s or District’s or State Education Agency’s policies, including the School’s honor code;
remove, circumvent, disable, damage or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the Site, features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of Site Content, or features that enforce limitations on the use of the Site.
access, collect, record, process, mine, store, analyze or index any information about other Users, except as authorized by such User;
access, collect, record, process, mine, store, analyze or index any portion of the Site for purposes of constructing or populating a searchable database of ratings and or reviews and or any other System or Site Content;
solicit personal information from any user, or submit or transmit pornography; or
expose the Company, the School, the District, or State Education Agency, or the or Community to any civil or criminal liability; or
violate any applicable law or encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offense.
The restrictions above only apply to the extent permissible under applicable law. Nevertheless, you agree not to act contrary to them (even if permissible under applicable law) without providing 30 days' prior written notice to RSI via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or certified mail (to Brent Cooper, Cooper and Scully, 900 Jackson Street, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75202) together with any information that we may reasonably require to give us an opportunity to provide alternative remedies or otherwise accommodate you at our sole discretion.
Each User is responsible for the content that such User uploads, shares, posts, links to or otherwise makes available via the Site and System including all Ratings and Reviews (“User Provided Content”). You represent and warrant that you own or have sufficient rights, permissions and licenses in and to all User Provided Content, including without limitation, all photographs, images, pictures, audio, video, audio or written materials. You hereby grant to us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, perform, display and transmit your User Provided Content as necessary for provision of the Site and System, the creation of white papers, research reports, marketing intelligence and other analytics which we may publish, provide or sell to third parties and in connection with the promotion of the Site and System, including on our website, social media channels and other marketing and promotional materials and as set forth in these Terms. We reserve the right, but not obligation, to review or monitor any User Provided Content or use of the Site and System and may remove or restrict access to any User Provided Content we deem to be inappropriate, in violation of these Terms or applicable law. We cannot and do not guarantee that you, as a User, will not be exposed to content you find objectionable or offensive and you waive any right to damages relating to such content. If we believe any User Provided Content is in violation of any Educational Entity policies or applicable law, we reserve the right to report such User Provided Content and information regarding the User to the Educational Entity or appropriate legal authorities. You understand and agree that we cannot control how other Users in the Community may use the Site and System, including posting of offensive User Provided Content, or use or sharing of your User Provided Content (on the Site and System or otherwise) and release us from all liability arising from any other user’s acts.
You understand that our Site and System is intended to provide the Community with a forum for honest evaluation, ratings, and reviews (“Ratings and Reviews”) of Educational Services and Tools including Educational Services and Tools provided by our Technology Partners. Accordingly, you agree that any Ratings and Reviews you provide will be true, honest and based on your own professional experience and judgment and that you will not provide Ratings and Reviews for payment or other form of compensation.
Services, Solutions, and or Tools
Listing or availability of any Services, Solutions, and or Tools on or through the Site and System does not constitute a recommendation, sponsorship, guarantee or endorsement of such Service or Tool by EdCredible® You are responsible for determining whether you wish to use or purchase or provide a Rating or Review of any Services, Solutions, and or Tool which may be made available, Reviewed or otherwise included on or through the Site and System. All Ratings and Reviews are the personal opinions of Users and we do not sponsor or endorse any such Reviews. WE HEREBY DISCLAIM, AND YOU ACCEPT SUCH DISCLAIMER OF, ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE SERVICES, SOLUTIONS, AND OR TOOLS, ACCURACY OF REVIEWS OR OTHER USER PROVIDED CONTENT OR ANY OF OUR TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS. YOU ACKNOLWEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY PURCHASE OR USE OF ANY SERVICES, SOLUTIONS, AND OR TOOLS, WHETHER BASED ON ANY REVIEWS OR OTHERWISE, IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR DISCRETION AND RISK.
