FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS EDCREDIBLE®?

EdCredible® is an Instructional Materials Review Management Platform. It is the one-stop-shop administrators use to conduct their own instructional materials review or adoption process. EdCredible® automates every step of the process that administrators have previously done via email, paper and pencil or by using generic online form tools. Nothing beats a tool that's been developed specifically for instructional materials reviews.

I'VE NEVER DONE A REVIEW.  WHERE DO I START?

The first step in any review is to conduct an initial call with EdCredible® to discuss your review goals and objectives. This helps EdCredible® to align the training and review process with your needs and the internal capabilities of your school, district or state. Whether you've managed reviews for over a decade or your still learning what exactly goes into an instructional materials review, EdCredible® will guide you through the entire review process. Contact us at support@edcredible.com to request more information from EdCredible®.

HOW DO VENDORS AND PUBLISHERS PARTICIPATE IN REVIEWS?

When a education agency "posts" a new Instructional Materials Review or Adoption, vendors automatically receive an email notification.  Vendors then log in to EdCredible® to access the request for materials, submit all of the relevant product information by course, complete required documents and submit their response online.

WHAT DO VENDORS SUBMIT DURING A REVIEW?

Administrators can request vendors to submit any type of information online in EdCredible®. By default, EdCredible® collects a significant amount of product information with every vendor submission, which is automatically integrated into online evaluation forms for reviewers. By collecting this information digitally, administrators can export all of the submitted data from all vendors with a single click.

Information EdCredible® collects by default includes:

  • Title, Copyright, Author, ISBN, Edition

  • Product Description

  • Intended Grade Level

HOW DO REVIEWERS ACCESS MATERIALS?

EdCredible® automatically pulls all of the information that vendors submit (in their responses to your request for materials) into each online evaluation. At the click of a button, reviewers can access digital access codes and additional documents while in the evaluation. This takes much of the stress out of the review process for administrators because EdCredible® does the heavy lifting every step of the way.

To prevent reviewer bias, EdCredible® does not make the vendor pricing available to the reviewer during in the evaluation.

HOW MUCH DOES EDCREDIBLE® COST?

EdCredible's® goal is to deliver innovative, dependable online tools at an affordable price for all of our partners. EdCredible® is based on an annual subscription and we realize that one size does not fit all. Contact us at support@edcredible.com to request pricing information.
